STEAM Labs: Sonobe Cubes

When: Monday, March 16, 2026 - 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Where: Georgia T. Lord Library at Programming Room

Learn about simple math concepts like 3d shapes, then challenge yourself to build your very own sonobe cube with library staff. Join us 1st and 3rd Mondays at 4pm for a new lab. Labs are designed for school aged children ages 8 and up. Ages 8-10 will need an adult helper to stay in the labs with them.

Minecraft Monday

When: Monday, March 16, 2026 - 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: Fountain Hills Branch at Conference Room

Join us at the library to play Minecraft! We will collaborate on building projects and compete in friendly challenges. Space is limited, so registration is recommended.

Foster curiosity and imagination by engaging in topics like science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Join us as we workshop each month within these various topics and explore the world around us.

Homeschool @ Perry Library

QC Lego Club

Where: Queen Creek Branch at Mary Lou Fulton Story Time Room

Calling all Lego Masters! Join us each month as we create and display amazing lego creations. Don't forget to bring your creativity; you'll need it!

LEGO Club is open to all school-age children and their siblings. At each meeting, our young builders will be given either a LEGO challenge to problem solve and test, or open playtime. Let’s work together to build amazing LEGO creations!

STEMsters for Kids

Where: Southeast Regional at The Dig (Event Room in Children's Section)

Run by teen volunteers, STEMsters encourages school-age children to explore STEM concepts through fun, engaging, and interactive workshops! this time we will be making tissue paper parachutes.

Mad Scientist

Satisfiy your curious mind with some crazy experiments that might just leave you scratching your head and asking yourself "how in the world?" The answer, as always, SCIENCE!!!

Scooby Dooby Doo! Where are you?! Join the Mystery Inc. crew each month as we watch an episode from the classic tv series. Find new friends and help the gang solve the mystery!

VR Gaming

Join us at the library on the 2nd Wednesday of the month to play virtual reality games! We will have 4 Oculus Quest headsets for participants to use. For ages 13+.
