Event Type: Book Discussion Age Group(s): Adults Date: 4/18/2017 Start Time: 10:30 AM End Time: 12:00 PM Description: Adults of all ages read and discuss fiction titles on the third Tuesday of each month. This month's title is Station eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. Summary: Winner of the Arthur C. Clark award and a finalist for the National Book Award and the PEN/Faulkner award, this novel explores our world after the population has been decimated by a deadly flue epidemic. However, it is not your typical post-apocalyptic novel of crisis and survival, but rather a quieter exploration of memory, nostalgia, art, and what constitutes true happiness.
