We will also go over Claudia Black’s work with children of alcoholics and her three unwritten rules in the family. Sharon Wegsheider-Cruse describes typical roles for the alcoholic family, and we will explore how both of these models may apply to some degree in all dysfunctional families. Learn if you have adopted any of these unwritten rules or family roles, and decide if they could continue to be impacting your life. We will explore the helpful processes you may use to deal with unfinished childhood issues to free yourself from the possible negative impact on attitudes, work, school, relationships, and your own family.
