 Arizona has played a significant role in space exploration, from the identification of Pluto by Lowell Observatory in 1930 to the first U.S. mission that captured material from an asteroid, to the discovery of a black hole. At this program, you will learn about the space history of Arizona and places around the state that have contributed to the exploration of space.
