Library: White Tank Branch Library location About the presenter: I was born in the Ozarks but raised in the Valley of the Sun. My day job is creating realistic oil paintings and I show them in galleries and museums around the world. A lifetime interest in gardening combined with a dissatisfaction with the industrial food system lead me to be more purposeful in my food raising hobby. This is how I originally became interested in permaculture and raising backyard livestock which have since become great passions. I wrote a pocket-sized guidebook on keeping chickens (“Fowl Play”) and have been teaching these subjects around the valley since 2006. Location: Program Room Status: Closed |
