Create a better world with the elements of art! In this workshop, teens will be guided through the steps to create their own ceramic letters while focusing on texture. How do we use texture in art to create interest? Students will be rolling texture into their slab while using stencils to cut out letters, and will also have the option to add cookie cutter shapes to their letter. KD’s studio will provide, clay, glaze, rolling pins, stencils, bowls, t-shirt aprons, brushes, palettes, as well as firing of each piece. Ceramics projects will be fired up and returned to the library 2 weeks after the event for pick-up.

The class maximum is 15 students. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and will open on Monday, May 8 at 9:00 AM. Space is limited. Please make sure to include a valid phone number and email address to be notified when your artwork is ready.
