Calling all creative couples who want to have a fun and unique painting date night at the library! Each couple will be provided with acrylic paint, two 16 x 20 canvases, brushes, and guided instruction, as well as complimentary soda and water. As an added bonus, library staff would be happy to entertain your little ones (ages 5+) with a kid-friendly movie screening and activities in a separate room. For movie title, please call the library.

Painting will begin promptly at 6:15 PM and it is important that you arrive on time. Painters will be using acrylic paint, which is water-based and non-toxic, but it does stain clothing – please keep this in mind. We suggest wearing an old t-shirt or bringing an apron. Registration is REQUIRED for both children and adults, and will open April 29th at 9:00 AM on a first come, first served basis. Please fill out the below registration form for each adult person participating in the paint night. COUPLES MUST REGISTER FIRST BEFORE REGISTERING CHILDREN. To register children for the movie and activities, please go back and select the “Date Night, Paint Night (Kids)” link on the calendar of events and register each participating child. Please call to cancel. Once the wait list is full, we will no longer be accepting registration.
