We’re celebrating Star Wars Reads Day a little early! Join us at the library for an evening of fun and fandom. The Jedi and Sith of the Phoenix Lightsaber Academy will offer hands-on classes at 6pm and 6:30pm on lightsaber handling and basic dueling techniques. Costumes are welcome but not required, and pool-noodle lightsabers will be on hand for training. Classes are open to adults, teens, and padawans 10 and older. Tickets can be claimed on a first-come, first served basis 15 minutes before each training session. However, you may register for an e-mail reminder of this event.
