Event Type: Adult
Age Group(s): Adults, Teens
Date: 6/11/2016
Start Time: 9:30 AM

Description:
"Ready, Get Set, Read" (and write!) with Ann Lee Miller. Recipient of several Reader's Choice Awards, Ann is the author of five books, including the Amazon bestseller "Kicking Eternity".

The scene is the basic building block for a novel, short story, or memoir--learn how to craft it effectively and how to add tension to keep your readers flipping pages. Pick up professional methods that really work. The workshop will include hands-on practice of the techniques and a free professional edit of your writing, so please come prepared with paper and pen or laptop. This workshop is taught by novelist and memoirist Ann Lee Miller, a creative writing MFA candidate with over 100,000 Amazon downloads of her books.

This program is geared for adults. Teens 15 and older may attend. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 30 minutes before the workshop begins. For a reminder e-mail of this event, please register using an e-mail (phone reminders cannot be guaranteed).
