Library: Queen Creek Branch Library location The scene is the basic building block for a novel, short story, or memoir--learn how to craft it effectively and how to add tension to keep your readers flipping pages. Pick up professional methods that really work. The workshop will include hands-on practice of the techniques and a free professional edit of your writing, so please come prepared with paper and pen or laptop. This workshop is taught by novelist and memoirist Ann Lee Miller, a creative writing MFA candidate with over 100,000 Amazon downloads of her books. This program is geared for adults. Teens 15 and older may attend. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 30 minutes before the workshop begins.
