 A Presentation and Conversation with Phoenix Art Museum Master Docent Melinda Donovan
Join us as we journey through the ages to explore Dance in Art. Dance is performed as a form of emotional expression, social interaction, religious and ethnic ritual, or pure entertainment. We will begin in ancient Egypt and travel through different countries, cultures, and periods of art up to the present day. Included are works of art by famous artists like Degas, Renoir, Van Gogh, Chagall, and O’Keeffe, plus masterworks from Phoenix Art Museum’s permanent collection.
