 We associate turkeys with something on our holiday dinner plate, but did you know that prehistoric peoples in the Southwest also raised domestic turkeys over 2000 years ago? But were they eating them? Why or why not? Join archaeologist Jessica Bland for this fun, seasonally-appropriate presentation investigating the various lines of archaeological evidence of turkey domestication and their use in the prehistoric Southwest.
