Robinson tells the story of Ann and Miriam, in 1947 post war Brittan, who are chose to take part in the creation of Princess Elizabeth’s wedding gown. Robinson also weaves in the story of Heather, in 2016 Toronto, tries to understand how her Nan came to possess the priceless embroideries that so closely resemble the motifs on the stunning gown worn by Queen Elizabeth.
