Event Type: Adult Age Group(s): Adults Date: 2/8/2020 Start Time: 10:00 AM End Time: 11:00 AM Description: Trained & certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) will prepare and E-File your taxes for FREE based on income eligibility. They also offer self-preparation (FSA) which allows you to E-File your returns for FREE with guidance from an IRS Certified Volunteer. Appointments will be given preference, but walk-ins are welcome. Registration suggested. This program will run on Saturdays from February 1st April 11th. Please only register once.
Library: White Tank Branch Library location VITA certified volunteers will prepare and E-file your Federal & State taxes for you based on income eligibility. You should bring with you: Social Security cards, IRS ITIN card or ITIN letters for all household members Picture ID for taxpayer and spouse Proof of ALL income, including W-2 and 1099 forms Form 1098 (if applicable) Name, address and tax ID number of childcare providers Amount paid to childcare provider in previous year Account and routing numbers for direct deposit Copy of previous year tax return (if available) The FSA option allows you to E-file your return with a certified volunteer available to answer questions. The process is quick & easy but must be started at a VITA site & you must have last years return. There are no income limits for FSA filing. If you are missing information you have the option of finishing the return from home using the same login you created at the VITA site.
