Library: White Tank Branch Library location Presenter Bio: I started with my undergraduate degree in chemistry and after 4 years of teaching, I acquired a grant from the National Science Foundation to obtain a Masters of Science degree in geology at the University of Houston. I taught several years in geology and then launched a course in Meteorology. The field was just starting over using computer logic and it was a great combination. In 1973, I started a second position as an, on-air meteorologist. By working the two jobs, I was able to retire early and travel. I spent my career in Western New York (the Snow Belt). I currently spend winters in Arizona and summers in Western New York. Location: Program Room Registration Ends: 1/16/2020 at 12:00 PM Contact: Megan Presenter: Tom Status: Closed |
