 Ages and 8 and up. Read or listen to the book, then join us at the library as we discuss the book and do an activity. Registration is required.

"Poppy" by Avi. Hoot owl, Ocax, rules Dimwood Forest and promises to protect the mice as long as they ask his permission to move about. Poppy is a deer mouse under the owl's protection. When her fiance is killed by Ocax, Poppy realizes she has to find a new place where she and her family can find food and live without Ocax terrorizing them. To do it she will need all of her strength and courage...and maybe a friend.
