Ages 12-18. Join Kris to learn more about how he uses chocolate to create works of art. During this interactive demo you will learn about the medium he uses for his art, work with a professional artist to learn how to create chocolate art and Kris will share more about the path he has taken to become the artist he is today.

Kris Rhymes was born and raised in the Phoenix area. He became fascinated with art at age 8 and began to evolve into the notable talented professional he is today. His commitment to his vision of the arts allowed Rhymes to see new and original concepts, and to recognize his ability to create beyond the norm. Kris is a self-taught artist and as such, his talents and vision have broadened into business as an Entrepreneur. As with art, his business experiences draw inspiration from human interaction, music and nature. His analytical nature and eye for detail of both the art and business world is apparent in his work on canvas. Kris creates art that is tantalizing to the senses and musical nostalgia to the eyes! At 26, Kris Rhymes has two collections that are an extension to his Art brand of KRhymes Artistry, one using Chocolate Syrup and one using Record Album Covers. His work has been exhibited in many venues such as Tempe History Museum, ASU Community Gallery, and First Studio Gallery. Rhymes will be featuring his two collections from the series of "Bittersweet Phase: 1" and "Legends Vol.1" at Vision & Sound 2018. In addition to reaching people with his canvas Art, Rhymes also uses human heads as canvases in his Profession as a Barber. He creates unique hair styles in his barber brand of Rhymes Designs. He has a passion for helping youth as well; mentorship focusing on visual arts, self-worth, and empowerment. Kris Rhymes is expected to speak about his unique mediums, why he is passionate about helping youth and what people can expect from this year's exhibition!
