Whether they are caused by careless humans or lightning, fires sometimes destroy homes and shatter lives. But are they always bad and destructive? In this one-hour presentation you will be introduced to the basics of fire ecology, learn about some of America’s fire history and also find out what it’s like to be a Wildland Fire Fighter. The current wildfire situation in Arizona will also be discussed.
