AZ Science Center: Whirly, Twirly Flying Things!

Description:
 Follow in the footsteps of Leonardo Da Vinci by designing and testing your own flying machines. Learn how to create soaring helicopters and experiment with how other objects fly in this gravity-defying class! Children will take home their engineered creations. This program is intended to be a hands-on early childhood S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program that provides opportunities for young children to:
o Engage in literacy activities and storytelling
o Observe cause and effect
o Build engineering skills
o Make connections among gravity experiments
o Explore physics and create take-home materials to test
o Never stop wondering®
Each early childhood experience delivered by Arizona Science Center is thoughtfully developed to be adaptable based on the needs of participants.
